Park Facilities And Amenties

Do you want to go on holiday but not have to leave your four legged friend behind? At Smithy Park we welcome dog owners and their well behaved pets.

  • Shower Block

The heated shower block has all the usual facilities for the use of touring visitors, including a wet room for the less-able.

  • Information Room

There is a space for leaflets, local information, magazines, jigsaws, and games to borrow. Whether you’re seeking information about the community or looking for some entertainment, this room has something for everyone.

  • Book Swap Phone Box
The Book Swap is situated in the iconic red ‘phonebox’, offering a variety of books that cater to all tastes. Whether you’re looking for a gripping thriller, a heartwarming romance, or a thought-provoking non-fiction, there’s something for everyone.
  • Laundry

We have a coin operated laundry with washer and dryer which is located in the shower block.

  • Wifi

There is free Wifi onsite, and is fine for checking emails and social media posts, but not downloading or streaming services. The code is available at Reception

  • Children’s Play Area

A secure play area for children, featuring traditional swings, slides, seesaws, and climbing frames. It includes a small football area and ample green grass for children to run and play.

  • Reception
Reception is open from 9 am to 5 pm and our friendly team are here to help. If you arrive after hours our staff will come out to see you or leave instructions/directions for you to find your pitch. We have a few essential items available at reception, perfect if you don’t want to drive out just for that bottle of milk you forgot. Additionally, you are welcome to book a supermarket delivery to the main car park and meet your driver there.
  • River Activities
There is onsite fishing with easy access to the River Severn, and also access to the river for canoeing, paddle boarding, etc.
  • Refuse & Recycling
Please recycle wherever possible. There is a general waste bin and recycling bins next to the amenities block. Please squash boxes and plastic bottles.
