Whether you own a Holiday Home at Smithy Park, or are visiting us in your touring caravan or motorhome, or staying in our self-catering holiday cottage, at Smithy Park you can bring all of the family.
With the hills in the background, Smithy Park is a lovely spot to walk your furry friends and there are lots of fantastic Canal walks away from the Smithy Park, perfect for you and your dog/s.

Doggie Guidelines
- Ensure everyone, including your dog, enjoys their time at our Park by following our guidelines.
- A maximum of 2 dogs is allowed in your holiday home, tourer, or our self-catering property, Oak Cottage.
- Some breeds (those listed under the Dangerous Dog Act 1991) and unsociable dogs are not permitted. Please check at booking.
- Please clean up after your dog—waste bins are available around the Park.
- Self-catering guests should bring their own pet bedding to protect carpets and soft furnishings. Dogs are not allowed to sleep on beds.
- Dogs must not be supervised by anyone under the age of 18.
- Dogs should not be left unsupervised anywhere on the Park at any time.
- Dogs must be kept on leads while walking. They may be let off the lead on the river bank if they are under control.
- Failure to supervise and control your dog may result in being asked to remove it from the Park to ensure others’ safety.
- Do not allow your dog to disturb neighbors. Noisy or unsociable dogs may be asked to leave, and owners may be required to vacate the Park.
- Dogs must have a current annual vaccination.
- Park owners reserve the right to refuse any dog.
- Assistance dogs are welcome.
- Please check with us if you wish to bring pets other than dogs.


- If you do not supervise and control your dog, we will ask you to remove it from the Park to ensure the safety of others.
- Do not allow your dog to annoy your neighbours. If your dog is noisy and unsociable, you will be asked to remove it from the Park, and it will not be permitted to return. Dog owners may also be asked to leave.
- Please ensure your dog has a current annual vaccination.
- Park owners reserve the right to refuse any dog.
- Assistance dogs are very welcome.
